Fire Sprinkler Estimator - Commercial & Industrial Projects

We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Estimator to support commercial and industrial fire protection projects in Hauppauge, NY. This full-time role focuses on accurate takeoffs, pricing, and scope review to ensure competitive and profitable bids while supporting smooth project execution after award.

As a Fire Sprinkler Estimator, you will prepare detailed cost estimates, review construction drawings, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, knowledge of NFPA standards, and a collaborative, client-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and takeoffs for commercial and industrial fire sprinkler projects in Hauppauge, NY
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and fire protection scopes for accuracy
• Price materials, labor, and subcontracted work to support competitive bids
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams during the bid process
• Support bid revisions, reviews, and project handoff after award
• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and pricing documentation
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify scope and project requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience estimating fire sprinkler or fire protection systems
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection project scopes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Professional communication and effective teamwork abilities
