Job Title: RN – Peds/Ambulatory
Duration: 13 weeks contract
Work Location: New York, NY
Shift timing: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
Requirement: Peds experience
Job Description:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and adults in an ambulatory care setting.
- Perform telephone triage, assessing and addressing patients’ needs remotely.
- Administer vaccines according to pediatric immunization schedules.
- Conduct well-child visits and manage pediatric conditions such as asthma, gastroenteritis, obesity, and developmental delays including autism.
- Collect nasopharyngeal specimens and assist with diagnostic testing.
- Educate families on asthma management, breastfeeding, and nutritional support.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions and care in the EPIC system.
- Collaborate with social services, respiratory services, phlebotomy, and interpretation services.
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN License.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
- Minimum 3 years of pediatric RN experience.
- Proficiency in EPIC documentation system.
- Strong pediatric med-surge nursing skills.
