Senior Power BI Developer NYC, NY - Hybrid

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to bridge business needs and IT solutions within the CLM platform. The role involves analyzing integration and Power BI requirements, designing technology solutions, and ensuring effective implementation. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure satisfaction.

The candidate will develop and enhance integration processes, manage the CLM Power BI platform, and work across all CLM domains to ensure consistent reporting and build new capabilities. Strong IT CLM, business analysis, and project management experience with deep knowledge of Power BI is essential.

Location: NYC, NY – Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Functional Analysis: Translate complex reporting requirements into technical specifications. Lead analysis and design for business reporting needs. Implement process improvements and data controls.

• Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines. Support full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through UAT and post-implementation review.

• System Development: Support development and enhancement of Power BI and CLM systems.

• Process Optimization: Identify workflow improvement opportunities and implement technologies to reduce manual intervention.

• Mentorship: Manage and mentor junior team members.

• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present project status, key milestones, dashboards, and reports to senior management.

• Power BI Platform Management: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and Power BI Service environment.

• Version Control & Deployment: Manage GitLab and Azure DevOps pipelines.

• Data Management: Snowflake development, data migration, testing, reconciliation, and audit support.

• Job Scheduling: Maintain and monitor jobs using Tidal.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• Experience: 7+ years in IT compliance, business analysis, or related roles in financial services.

• Technical Skills: Power BI, SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, reporting mockup design tools, Integration solutions.

• CLM Knowledge: Strong understanding of CLM practices and regulatory reporting standards.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solve complex compliance issues.

• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
