Overview
Since 1972, Covenant House has served and advocated for youth and young families experiencing homelessness, human trafficking, and exploitation. Our overarching goal is to end homelessness among youth and young families by helping them achieve housing stability, heal from trauma, tap into their innate resilience, and hone their interests and skills to forge new pathways to independence. This work is carried out across Covenant House sites in 34 cities in the US, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras.
About the Role
The Coordinator, Web Properties (internal title: Coordinator, Integrated Marketing) is responsible for building and updating web pages, landing pages, and digital assets using templates, modules, and established brand styles to help deliver truly an exceptional fundraising, engagement and content experience for all user audiences of Covenant House digital properties.
The Coordinator, Web Properties, reports directly to the Manager, Web Development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Share in the maintenance of Covenant House International’s website properties by monitoring a portfolio of pages and applications for functionality and technical performance, QA and troubleshooting issues, initiating changes with team approval when appropriate, and tracking issue resolution across internal project management systems
Build and update web pages, landing pages, and donation pages using approved components within our CMS platform (Drupal)
Execute day-to-day website updates and maintenance tasks from the Manager, Web Development, ensuring all changes are accurate, compliant, and aligned with the Covenant House brand standard
Help manage daily operations with digital agencies and project managing key development and content deliverables
Manage and maintain large volumes of digital content across web properties, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Proficient project management skills, including experience using project management systems to track tasks, timelines, and deliverables
Effective relationship management and communication skills across internal teams and external partners
Comfortable working across digital platforms, including content management systems (Drupal or WordPress preferred), CRM tools, and web analytics platforms
Familiarity with basic photo and image editing tools (e.g., Photoshop)
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, with the ability to troubleshoot and support basic front-end updates
Understanding of digital acquisition and marketing ecosystems, including SEO/SEM, tag management, social media, email, SMS, and affiliate channels
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience in digital asset or web content management, with exposure to digital marketing, content strategy, web development, and conversion optimization
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital media, web management, marketing, information systems, or a related field
Previous marketing experience
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel once per year to New York City in early October for our annual in-person traditions
Outside of our annual traditions, this position is 100% remote
