Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
- Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vital signs, and labor progression
- Assist with cesarean sections and urgent interventions as needed
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth experience
- Document care and patient outcomes accurately in the EMR system
Requirements
- Current New York RN License
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
