Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team at Nyack, NY. This role involves performing a variety of laboratory procedures, specimen collection, and processing to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive clinical and research laboratory experience, demonstrate proficiency in laboratory techniques, and maintain high standards of safety and accuracy.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens using aseptic techniques to ensure sample integrity.
• Perform routine laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols, including blood draws (phlebotomy), vital signs measurement, and specimen preparation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory procedures, test results, and patient information using medical terminology.
• Support patient care by providing timely results and communicating findings clearly to healthcare professionals.
• Assist with research laboratory activities by preparing reagents, maintaining equipment, and recording experimental data.

Required Qualifications:

• Min 2 years of Histo tech experience.
• ASCP certification required
• New York license required
• BLS
