Partnerships Manager

Bridging the gap between Life Sciences, Marketing Innovation, and Software Development

About the Role

You are fluent in both creative and technical languages. You know how to simplify complex problems, unblock teams, and serve as the trusted bridge between visionary ideas and flawless execution. In this highly strategic and operational role, you will serve as both an internal operator and an external point of contact to drive project success across our key partnerships. You will work closely with leadership to build and own client relationships, keep projects on track, and ensure deliverables are executed smoothly and with excellence.

This position is ideal for a creative, innovative, and collaborative marketing or communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate is exceptional at problem solving, strategic thinking, information synthesis, context switching, and independently driving projects to successful completion. This role requires both internal coordination and external communication, making it a critical link between our team and our clients. A background in biology, healthcare, life sciences, or related scientific / engineering fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage key external stakeholders, frequently technical founders or healthcare and life sciences executives, to act as a strategic thought and design partner, owning solutions development from concept to realization.
• Translate highly technical or scientific concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible narratives for marketing and design teams.
• Quickly learn new subject matter to contribute effectively to technical/scientific discussions.
• Synthesize meetings, email threads, asynchronous conversations, and documents into clear action items and next steps for designers and engineers.
• Identify opportunities to deepen and expand client relationships
• Coordinate with internal teams (designers and engineers) to ensure client requests are handled quickly and accurately.
• Own project management for in-person activations including conference booths and other experiential marketing activations.
• Track progress across multiple workstreams, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Proactively anticipate potential bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Support leadership with preparation of project updates, client communications, and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; background in biology, healthcare, life sciences, engineering, or related technical discipline preferred.
• 3–7 years of experience in strategic partnerships, project management, operations, consulting, or client-facing roles.
• Strong fluency with AI and software applications - you consider yourself AI native or close to it.
• Top-tier written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally to clients.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations, handle feedback constructively, and resolve issues independently.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
• Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Google Workspace, Slack, and project management platforms (Linear, Asana, Trello, Notion, or similar).
• Comfortable working autonomously while aligning with U.S. working hours.
