Server – Fumo Upper West Side
Location: Fumo Upper West Side – 2791 Broadway, New York, NY
Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time
Fumo Upper West Side is seeking enthusiastic, hospitality-focused Servers to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, knowledgeable about food and beverage service, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests
- Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations on food, wine, cocktails, and specials
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system and communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining service standards
- Anticipate guest needs and address concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, stations, and service equipment
- Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
- Work collaboratively with management and fellow team members to create a positive guest experience
- Previous serving experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a high-volume environment
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional appearance
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine, and cocktails is a plus
- NYC Food Handler's Certificate is a plus
