About the Role
The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace environment. This role supports daily office operations by ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned, stocked, and ready for use in accordance with company standards and schedules. This position is based on an indoor office environment and requires routine physical activity. The role involves the use of standard cleaning equipment and exposure to cleaning products consistent with housekeeping responsibilities.
How you will Contribute
- Perform daily cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, conference rooms, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
- Follow daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning checklists to ensure all duties are completed within established timeframes.
- Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and other consumables as needed.
- Ensure that showrooms and meeting spaces are cleaned and ready prior to scheduled meetings or events.
- Conduct end-of-day walkthroughs of assigned areas to confirm cleanliness and readiness for the next business day.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply shortages promptly to management.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and properly.
- Follow all company policies related to safety, attendance, and workplace conduct.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and respectful interaction with staff and visitors.
- Perform additional cleaning duties or special projects assigned.
Time Management & Productivity Expectations
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently within expected timeframes.
- Prioritize high-traffic and high-impact areas.
- Use company time responsibly and adhere to scheduled breaks.
- Maintain consistent productivity without reliance on other staff to complete routine duties.
Attendance & Reliability
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
- Report to work on time as scheduled.
- Provide timely notice for absences in accordance with company attendance and call-out procedures.
What you bring to the Team
- Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or facilities experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and follow established cleaning schedules.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning supplies.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
