Marketing/PR at a Leading Wine Publication

Vinous is a dynamic, wine-focused media, tech & events company based in New York. Vinous sits at the epicenter of the fine wine industry, largely through its team of world-renowned wine critics whose reviews and ratings are trusted by thousands of consumers, buyers and sellers across the globe.

Vinous is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Marketing Lead to join our growing team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of fine wine, events, and media. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for storytelling, brand-building, and creating unforgettable experiences in the world of wine.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute marketing initiatives to promote Vinous events, from flagship tastings to intimate seminars.
• Ticketing & Communications: Own ticketing systems and craft audience communications, including email campaigns and promotional outreach.
• Social Media Management: Manage and grow Vinous’ social media presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X), including content creation and scheduling.
• Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of event-related projects, from on-site branding to digital materials.
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the team's creative members to the produce assets (photo, video, design) that support marketing goals.
• Team Player: Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive, solutions-oriented “yes, and…” approach to all tasks, big or small.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a PR or marketing role.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
• High energy and an enthusiasm to take responsibility and drive initiatives.
• A natural curiosity and a drive to learn, grow, and contribute creatively.
• Comfort with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong project management skills.
• Passion for wine and a desire to be part of a dynamic, high-performance team.
