For more information, visit of Role:As a Si photonics device engineer, you will be working on the development of Hybrid Si photonic devices for high-speed optical interconnect and sensing applications in 45nm & beyond.Essential Responsibilities:You will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies on the SiPh device architectures by benchmarking against existing solutions, conducting theoretical studies by multi-physics modeling of device performance, designing the device, and working closely with process / integration engineering team on device fabrication using state of the art fabrication facility at GlobalFoundries, Malta.You will also be working to develop measurement methodology and apparatus to test and characterize the fabricated devices and perform experiments to demonstrate their ability in various potential applications in Fab8 Malta, GlobalFoundries. Other Responsibilities:Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programsRequired Qualifications:Ph D's or master's degree with 2~3 years of working experience in relevant field.
