ACCOUNTANT POSITION

in the South Towns

Flexovit, a manufacturer of high-quality grinding & cutting wheels for power tools is seeking a motivated Accounting professional who will be responsible for daily accounting tasks and assisting with upcoming ERP conversion.

Responsibilities:

• Receivables and Payables
• Bank Reconciliations
• Journal Entries
• Reconciliation of Accounts
• Preparation of Sales Tax filings
• Inventory
• Month End and Year End processes
• Financial Reporting
• Preparation of audit documentation
• Assist with ERP Conversion
• Work closely with Accounting Manager

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting
• Strong Excel skills
• Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Maintain confidentiality
• 2nd floor office work, on site, M–F 7:30am – 4:00pm.
• Must be able to climb stairs
• Lift to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion
• Regularly stand, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch. 

Compensation:

• $25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on level of competency
• Paid time off benefits:
  • Holidays – 10 days per year.
  • Vacation – 2 weeks starting 1/1/2026.
• 401(k) match, eligible at 90 days.
• Paid benefits include both health and life insurance, eligible 1st of month after hire.
