Position Overview:
The In-Room Dining Server ensures that all room service orders are prepared accurately, delivered promptly, and presented with exceptional hospitality. This role combines attention to detail, guest interaction, and operational efficiency to provide a seamless dining experience.

What you'll do:

• Promptly take, confirm, and process guest in-room dining orders via phone or POS system.
• Prepare trays, carts, and service items to Nine Orchard's presentation standards.
• Deliver orders to guest rooms courteously and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Anticipate guest needs, accommodate special requests, and resolve any service issues promptly.
• Clear and reset trays/carts from guest rooms and hallways in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of in-room dining area, including service pantries.
• Assist with morning coffee service replenishment (if applicable).
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with culinary, housekeeping, and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.

• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum one (1) year of serving or hospitality experience preferred; luxury hotel experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant operations.
• Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service, or a willingness to learn.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• New York Food Handler's Certificate and Alcohol Training certification, or ability to obtain as required by law.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, and transport up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to push service carts and navigate guest room corridors and elevators safely.
