Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Schedule:
Full-time: 36 hours per week
2 on-call shifts every 4 weeks
Rotational shifts: Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
Requirements:
Active New York State RN License (Required)
Certifications Required:
BLS (AHA or RQI)
ACLS (AHA or RQI only)
NIHSS
Strong clinical and communication skills
Ability to work flexible, rotating schedules
Additional Information:
Must be comfortable working rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
On-call availability required as scheduled
