Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead (POS Integration) to drive both the technical design and product execution of our Point of Sale (POS) integrations. This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping integration strategy defining workflows building architecture and ensuring end-to-end delivery quality.

You will own the full lifecycle of integrations-from early discovery and requirements definition to deployment validation monitoring and ongoing optimization. As a technical leader you will collaborate across engineering QA operations and external partners ensuring seamless communication and alignment.

This role also provides the opportunity to innovate and develop tools that improve efficiency and quality including automation frameworks troubleshooting systems and monitoring solutions. Key Responsibilities :

• Own the product definition and implementation of loyalty engine integrations with third-party POS providers.
• Guide external partners through the full integration lifecycle ensuring technical quality smooth processes and delivery on timelines.
• Manage internal QA resources responsible for integration testing and validation.
• Develop internal and external troubleshooting tools and processes.
• Build automation systems to replace manual testing and improve operational efficiency.
• Create monitoring tools to track and optimize distributed system performance.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in technical product roles and/or software development.
• Strong background in retail technologies; POS experience preferred.
• Solid programming experience with the ability to write prototypes and tools for process improvement.
• Excellent project management skills with experience managing timelines risks dependencies and resources.
• Proficiency in Python or Java.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience mentoring engineers or leading teams.
• Familiarity with product management tools for cross-functional collaboration.
