Production Director
We are seeking an experienced Production Director to lead the end-to-end sourcing and production strategy across all product categories. This role will oversee global sourcing, vendor partnerships, production planning, and cost management while ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.

education: Bachelors Responsibilities Production & Vendor Management
- Manage supplier relationships and oversee production planning to ensure timely delivery and consistent quality
- Track work-in-progress (WIP) and production timelines, escalating risks to delivery schedules
- Evaluate vendor capacity to support seasonal production demand and forecasted growth
- Confirm vendor capabilities to meet product specifications, testing, and compliance standards
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations
- Partner with product development and merchandising teams to establish target costing and maintain margin goals
- Review vendor invoices, reconcile purchase orders, and collaborate with finance to monitor inventory and COGS
- Monitor freight markets and shipping costs to maintain accurate landed cost projections
- Coordinate ocean freight schedules and shipping timelines with production calendars
- Partner with logistics and distribution teams to ensure efficient inbound planning
- Lead sourcing and production operations while managing cross-functional collaboration across design, merchandising, sales, and operations teams
- Drive accountability with internal teams and vendors to meet production calendars and delivery commitments
- Support planning and sales teams with forecasting adjustments and inventory planning
