Data Analyst
The Data Analyst (multiple openings) at MPG Operations LLC in New York, NY will collect, categorize, and analyze financial data. Create, validate, test, and update algorithms and mathematical models of financial data. Provide actionable insights into data discovery and permissions, operational efficiency, and other key business metrics. Use data visualization software for optimal extraction and transform financial data from a wide variety of sources. Understand data infrastructure needs and make recommendations to business and technology stakeholders. Use analytical tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from financial data. Salary: $175,000 - $250,000 per year.Requires a Master's degree in Statistics, Financial Engineering, or a related field, and 3years in a professional financial data analysis, or related, occupation. Must include 3 years of experience with each of the following: 1) Programming in Python and SQL; 2) Financial markets, including equities, fixed income, and futures; 3) Portfolio risk analytics, including factor analysis and performance attribution; 4) Econometrics for financial analysis, including modelling, back-testing, and quantitative signal generations; 5) Mathematical principles including probability theory and statistical analysis; 6) Linear Regression Modeling; 7) Time-Series Analysis; and 8) Machine Learning.To apply please send resume to [email protected] and reference job code "0667" when applying.#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #INDdni
