Description:
- We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive mental health services in New York, NY.
- This full-time position requires a clinician skilled in diagnostic assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention.
- The role involves working closely with a healthcare team to address the psychosocial needs of patients.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in counseling or clinical psychology from an accredited university.
- MSW with New York State Certification.
- NYS licensure as LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PhD/PsyD.
- Experience in individual, family, and group counseling.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Experience with diverse populations such as HIV, homeless, mentally ill, elderly, children, and adolescents.
- Willingness to supervise interns and attend required supervisor courses.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in New York State.
- Experience in preparing comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations and treatment plans.
- Ability to conduct both short and long-term therapy.
- Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and professional standards in social services.
- Proficiency in documenting patient services and maintaining medical records.
- Participation in quality assurance programs and departmental meetings.
- Knowledge of child welfare issues and appropriate reporting procedures.
