Assembler/Solder Supervisor

Job Details:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision for assembly and soldering personnel.
• Perform hands-on assembly, soldering, and wiring of electronic products as needed.
• Establish daily production priorities and assign work to ensure schedules and customer commitments are met.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and workflow while providing coaching, training, and technical guidance.
• Review assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Manage employee administrative activities including timesheets, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring activities for production staff.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in electronic assembly and soldering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with surface mount, fine-pitch, through-hole assembly, and chassis wiring.
• Ability to perform precision work under microscopes and magnification equipment.
• IPC J-STD-001 certification required; S-Level certification highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring lists, schematics, and written work instructions.
• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising production personnel.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build positive working relationships and lead by example on the production floor.
