Overview We are seeking skilled cooks and culinary professionals to support the US Open at Shinnecock Hills. Key Responsibilities:

• Prep Cook - Grill Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain grill stations; keep area clean, safe, and in good working order.
• Food Preparation: Prepare grill-centric items (meats, vegetables, etc.) following recipes and presentation standards.
• Quality Control: Monitor quality and freshness; ensure consistency and great taste.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain sanitary workspaces; prevent cross-contamination; follow health and safety guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing grill supplies.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with kitchen staff and other areas to ensure timely meal production and service.
• Compliance: Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and venue policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Grill Cook, Line Cook, or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Knowledge of grilling techniques and equipment.
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
• Strong understanding of food handling and sanitation standards.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for handling food and equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies and equipment.
