Protiviti is looking for a n Associate Director to join our growing People & Change team.

What You Can Expect

As an Associate Director, you'll take a lead role in strengthening our relationships with clients , driving ma rket impa ct throug h bu siness devel opment in a hi gh ly collab orative en viro nment and providing lea der ship in the deliv ery of engagements. You'll partner with our strategic clients to sh a p e the fut ure of the HR fun ction .? You'll develop strategies and do th e pract ical r oll up your s leev es imp lem entation wor k to h elp HR leadership team de liver b usin ess ou t come s .?

You'll build lasting relationships with clients and within the community as you serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market. You will also be a mentor and provide growth and development to teams as you oversee the successful completion of project work plans.

  • You are well versed acro ss the entire HR te chnology stack and can help client s exp lore and enable n ew ways of wor king

  • You can translate complex diagnostic insights into clear, actionable transformation roadmaps

  • You proactively build market presence through client relationships, networking, and thought leadership

  • You are experienced in design in g, impleme nting and optimi zin g HR technolog i es and na vigat e flu idly from func tional to tech nical conv ersations

  • You foster a collaborative, high-performance culture and invest in developing others

  • You take ownership of growing the business, from pipeline development through successful delivery

  • You enjo y building repeatable methodologies, tools, and assets that scale the HR Transformation practice

  • Demonstrated experience with :

  • Leading HR transformation programs, including HR operating model redesign , A I for ward HR proc ess e s, and techno logy ena blement

  • Driving HR organizational design , ser vice o ffer ings and workforce planning aligned to business strategy and key busines s outcomes

  • A rch itect ing HR tran sfo rmation busine ss case m odels , exec utive brief ing mat eri als and roa dmaps

  • Designing and implementing skills-based workforce strategies and talent frameworks

  • E nhancing glob al HR operations , including dis rup ting the traditio nal tier structure , auto matin g work at scale and transi tioning w ork into HR opera tions and deliv ering exp erience at scale

  • Imp lementing and optim izing ma jor HR tec hno logi es (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM , Se rvice Now, A rti ficial Int ellig ence ) and best in class solution s ( T al ent Ac quisit io n, Empl oyee Re lations, Workf orce Pl a nning , etc.)

  • Developing talent strategies across recruiting, succession, learning & development, and leadership pipelines

  • Leading change management efforts to support adoption of new HR structures, processes, and tech nolog ies

  • Conducting HR diagnostics and maturity assessments to identify gaps and prioritize improvement initiatives

  • Prov en business development ex per tise and mark et imp act , includi ng understa nding client nee ds, deve lop ing hol isti c solu ti on s, docu menting prop osal s, and cont racting for en gagement

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

  • Proven ability to build and expand client relationships

  • Experience managing multiple engagements across industries and business environments

  • Demonstrated leadership of teams, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources , Business, Organizational Development, or related field

  • 9+ years of experience in HR transformation, human capital consulting, or progressive HR leadership roles

  • Pro gressi ve lead ership e xperience in a globa l profess ional s ervices cons u lt ing firm is strongly preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with process mapping or analytics tools a plus

  • Relevant certifications such as SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, PMP, or similar preferred

Our Hybrid Workplace

Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements vary by client, project, team, and other business factors. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local or out-of-state travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments .

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.

$163,000.00 - $278,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$189,080.00 - $322,480.00

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year.
