Beverage Manager

The Bar Manager works with the General Manager and management team to ensure efficient restaurant operations, as well as maintain high standards for service, education and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Managers should exemplify professionalism in leading a team and creating a positive work environment for everyone.

Expectations

• Service and Staff management
  • Oversee and manage service on a daily basis
  • Uphold company standards and lead staff education
  • Ensure a positive guest experience, building relationships and cultivating experiences
• Beverage Management
  
  • Oversee beverage program and offering, working with chefs and culinary team to maintain a creative and comprehensive program.
  • Lead bar training, scheduling, education
  • Place and monitor all beverage orders and oversee inventory and costing
  • Educate staff on new and current inventory, maintaining and expanding an exciting and comprehensive beverage program

Efficiency:

• Develop successful systems in all areas (labor, COG’s, supplies, repairs)
• Manage weekly and monthly inventory for bar and CGS
• Responsible for upkeep and ongoing improvement of all aspects of the restaurant operation
• Employee morale and happiness
• Customer and Employee Safety (OSHA, DOH)
• Customer Service and Satisfaction
• Tools for the Staff to do their jobs
• Maintain up to date website, menu, POS and reservations
• Troubleshoot practical fixes and alert GM or necessary parties of issues as they arise

An ideal candidate would possess

• 2+ years of management experience, 4+ years of experience in beverage focused hospitality
• Experienced in and knowledgeable of beverage products with a focus on small batch, local, artisinal and low intervention spirits
• Thrive in fast-paced environment while supporting staff during service.
• High communication skills with all employees.
• Likes working closing with all staff to help train and grow in the company.
• Passionate about creative cocktails and pairing natural wines with food.
• Dedicated to providing a welcoming environment and positive customer experiences. We hold hospitality in very high regard.
• Open availability is required. Must be available to work Nights and Weekends.
• Collaborative team-player is a must
