Sales Associate

Status: Full Time – Exempt

Hours: 5 days Monday through Sunday: open to close with 1 hours lunch.

Position Summary

Strive for the highest level of customer service and sales productivity. Always display a positive and professional attitude and convey interest in the brand and merchandise to customers and coworkers. Maintain accuracy and punctuality in all aspects of the job. Take the initiative and support team members in order to achieve shared success.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage clients with professional demeanor, providing an elevated shopping experience.
• Provide product knowledge, styling suggestions, and personalized service
• Maintain and grow client relationships through follow-up and accurate records
• Develop a digital client book utilizing through the CRM app Alpha platform
• Respond to inquiries on product availability, alterations, care, and shipping
• Follow up on reservations, and held items
• Achieve personal and store sales targets
• Stay aware of store performance and contribute to team success
• Maintain sales floor coverage and store cleanliness
• Handle inventory: restocking, organizing back stock, and supporting inventory counts
• Receive merchandise: unpack, tag, apply security sensors, and store properly
• Support visual merchandising and maintain displays
• Use POS and inventory systems for transactions, order processing, and client management
• Fulfill and process of online orders through Shopify and ShipMX
• Ensure all merchandise is tagged, ticketed, and floor-ready
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including preparing the sales floor, securing the store, and sending the end-of-day report
• Follow all company and store policies
• Arrive on time, follow the dress code, and complete assigned shifts
• Attend required meetings and provide feedback when needed
• Communicate any issues with customers or operations to the direct supervisor.

Requirements/Skills

• Basic computer proficiency
• 2-3 years retail experience
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to walk and climb stairs without restrictions
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods (4 -5 hours between breaks)
• Ability to pack, unpack, hang, and move merchandise using rolling racks
• Strong ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
