Infrastructure

We deploy long-term capital through direct investments, fund investments, and co-investments. This is done across the capital structure and across all sub-segments of infrastructure to help build a strong and diversified portfolio.

Direct Investment Team

You will be given the opportunity to make direct equity investments across the infrastructure asset class – including gas and electricity networks, power generation and renewables, communications infrastructure, water utilities, airports, seaports and highways.

What impact can you make in this role?

You will be part of a team that invests into infrastructure companies with stable and predictable cash flows, long-term inflation protection and reasonable risk-adjusted returns.

What will you do as an Associate?

  • Evaluate and execute new infrastructure opportunities in the power and utilities, transportation, digital infrastructure and energy transition sectors in North America
  • Investment and sector research
  • Financial analysis, valuation, and modeling
  • Prepare investment memos for presentation to the Investment Committee
  • Track select workstreams on a transaction and liaise with advisors
  • Understand structuring and tax issues related to M&A transactions
  • Participate in the asset management of existing investments Work on other special projects as required
  • Work on other special projects as required

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

  • 2-4 years of prior investment banking, consulting, private equity or related experience
  • Undergraduate degree with top academic qualifications and demonstrated performance
  • Possess strong financial modeling and writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Maturity, presence, strong organization and verbal communication skills are critical due to the exposure and close interaction with senior members of investment team and senior executives
  • Team player, self-starter, detail-oriented, able to work independently with limited supervision

Compensation

Our compensation philosophy reflects several principles. We strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results. Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $121,500 and $161,100. Bonuses, which may form a meaningful proportion of the total pay package, are determined based on company and individual performance.
