Chef/Proprietor Angie Mar channels the spirit of her beloved, cult-favorite Beatrice Inn into a jewel-like dining room defined by inky blue walls, a chandelier salvaged from Brooklyn's Grand Prospect Hall, and an unmistakable joie de vivre.
The kitchen serves French cuisine at its core — classic flavors sharpened by modern technique, with dramatic tableside preparations and forgotten pleasures pulled from the history books. Mar's menu centers on game birds and seafood, drawing in Chinese and Japanese influences that reflect her own heritage alongside her classical French training. It's a cuisine of contrasts: East meets West, discipline meets indulgence, nostalgia meets now.
