Kid-friendly Housekeeper

About the Family
A warm and welcoming private family located in Rye, NY is looking to hire a dedicated and professional KId-friendly Housekeeper to join their household. They value discretion, reliability, and someone who will be a long-term fit.

• Children: Three children ages 3 (g), 7 (b) and 12 (b)

• Home Size: 4,000 sq feet

Responsibilities

• Early afternoon cleaning and tidying of the residence and family laundry.

• After 3pm flexibility to drive a child to an after-school activity or watching the 3 year old girl (she is done schpool by 2pm) while mom is with the two older boys. There is use of a family car when you are doing job related driving.

• Help meal prep with mom or if you like cooking, that would be a major plus if you can cook family dinners!

  In the summer months (July and August), flexibility to live-in a few nights a week in East Hampton, NY.

  Mom is home with the kids so this person will tag-team with mom helping her co-parent during the week. This will be a partnership between you and mom. Mom will do most of the kid responsibilities but just needs a second person to assist when she needs more support. You main responsibilities will be housekeeping, landry and meal prep/cooking.

They should be naturally nurturing, have a positive attitude, and take pride in maintaining a structured, clean, and peaceful environment. A flexible mindset, strong communication skills, and a calm demeanor are essential. This family is seeking someone who is looking for long-term placement and will become a valued part of their household.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role in a private household

• Excellent references

• Legal to work in the United States

• Driver’s license and clean driving record

• Willing to travel occasionally, if needed

  Work days/hours are Monday – Friday 12pm – 8pm. Fleibility to work later on Thursday’s untill 9 or 10pm.

  Compensation. $35/hour – $40/hour depending on experience and if you can cook dinners
