BIA Wholesale Credit Risk VP

Join us as a BIA Wholesale Credit Risk VP and help drive the delivery of audits that support the bank’s standards and regulatory requirements. In this role, you’ll collaborate across teams to evaluate credit risk processes and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. You will bring insight and leadership to complex risk assessments while mentoring team members and engaging senior stakeholders. To be successful as a BIA Wholesale Credit Risk VP, you should have:

• Experience in wholesale credit risk and audit
• Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to stakeholders
• Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills to deliver practical, data-driven solutions

Some other highly valued skills may include

• Proven project management skills, including managing timelines, teams, and senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of structured credit, prime brokerage, and lending products within investment banking
• Familiarity with audit tools and systems, and the ability to interrogate and analyze large data sets

This role is located in New York.

Minimum Salary: $150,000

Maximum Salary: $210,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To support the development of audits aligned to the bank’s standards and objectives by working collaboratively with colleagues, providing accurate information and recommendations, and complying with policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

• Audit development and delivery support, including financial statements, accounting practices, operational processes, IT systems and risk management.
• Identification of operational risks to support the delivery of the Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) Audit Plan through risk assessments.
• Assessment of internal control effectiveness and their capability to identify and mitigate risk aligned to regulatory requirements.
• Communication of key findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including the Audit Owner, senior managers and directors.
• Identification of regulatory news and industry trends/developments to provide timely insight and recommendations for best practice.
