Commercial Plumbing TechnicianOrder a Plumber Inc. – Islip Terrace, NY Position Overview The Commercial Plumbing Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in commercial properties. This role requires a strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to getting the job done! Responsibilities * Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and gas lines. * Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify plumbing issues. * Work on large-scale commercial fixtures such as water heaters, boilers, pumps, back-flow prevention devices, and other specialized systems. * Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. * Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, project managers, and clients. * Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and job site conditions. * Provide excellent workmanship and represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Qualifications * 3+ years of experience in commercial plumbing (preferred). * Valid plumbing license or certification (if required by state). * Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, tools, and materials. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. * Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, confined spaces). * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Requirements: * Proven plumbing experience (residential and/or commercial). * Knowledge of modern plumbing methods, codes, and materials. * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. * Professional, reliable, and team-oriented mindset.
