Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our 1LOD embedded Control team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging data to drive strategic risk and control decisions and possess expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies. Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Kanban boards, SQL, and data visualization platforms is essential. This role involves working collaboratively across teams (including compliance partners, risk officers and operations teams) to extract and analyze data, uncover insights, and deliver actionable solutions to business challenges.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide data-driven recommendations.

Design and implement dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).

Provide SME guidance for all data issue remediations impacting the 1LOD embedded Control Team to ensure proper data feeds for regulatory work and risk assessments.

Apply statistical and quantitative analysis techniques to support decision-making; run models, identify exceptions, and take corrective actions.

Facilitate Agile and Scrum processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings.

Utilize Jira and Kanban boards to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow management.

Monitor data quality and integrity, ensuring accuracy and reliability across all reporting.

Use SQL querying and technology tools for data extraction and model population.

Translate complex technical concepts and analyses into easily understandable formats for non-technical audiences.

Provide analytical support and prepare standard and ad-hoc reports for various stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree in quantitative analysis preferred.

Proven experience in a Data Analytics environment.

Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Experience with tools like Jira, Kanban boards, and data visualization platforms.

Strong knowledge of SQL querying and macro development.

Ability to interpret and communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and reliability.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support performance assessments
