General Contractor Laborer
Job Overview
We are a growing property management company seeking an experienced In-House Contractor to handle general contracting and property turnover work. We are looking for an organized, reliable professional who is familiar with rental property compliance standards.Responsibilities Include:- Perform general contracting and maintenance repairs (carpentry, drywall, painting, minor plumbing/electrical, flooring, etc.)- Complete unit turnovers efficiently and thoroughly- Manage Certificates of Occupancy and basic compliance requirements- Execute turnovers according to Section 8 inspection standards- Document all work with clear before and after photos- Communicate with management via email regarding estimates, updates, and completion reports- Manage multiple work orders and prioritize tasks effectively- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environmentQualifications:- Proven experience in general contracting or maintenance- Strong understanding of rental property turnovers- Section 8 experience preferred- Ability to multitask and work independently- Basic computer and email proficiency- Reliable transportation and your own tools
