SICC AUTOS are expanding our automotive division specializing in vehicle acquisition, resale, and fleet rentals. We’re looking for a sharp, ambitious Vehicle Acquisition Specialist with deep experience purchasing used cars from dealer auctions. Responsibilities

• Research & Plan: Identify upcoming dealer auctions and analyze vehicle inventory lists to select target vehicles that meet company buying criteria.
• Inspect & Evaluate: Attend multiple auction locations (in-person or online) to assess vehicles for condition, mileage, title status, and resale value.
• Bid & Buy: Participate in live and online auctions (primarily Mondays and Tuesdays) to secure high-quality vehicles within approved budgets and buying guidelines.
• Coordinate Logistics: Work with transport vendors to ensure timely delivery of purchased vehicles to company facilities.
• Collaborate with Sales Team: Provide detailed condition reports and recommendations to the sales and marketing team to streamline vehicle resale and rental deployment.
• Track Market Trends: Stay current with used car market values, auction trends, and vehicle depreciation rates to refine buying strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience buying and selling used vehicles (auction experience required).
• Deep understanding of wholesale vehicle pricing , reconditioning costs, and resale profitability.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to various auction sites weekly.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills — able to make data-driven purchasing decisions.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Manheim, ACV, Adesa, IAA, or Copart auctions.
• Experience working for independent dealerships, wholesalers, or rental fleets.
• Knowledge of vehicle financing and dealer floorplans.
