Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing OB/GYN team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for womens health, experience (or interest) in managing low-risk pregnancies and deliveries, and the ability to communicate effectively with a multicultural patient population. Fluency in Spanish is a strong plus, as many of our patients are Spanish-speaking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal visits, labor & delivery, postpartum follow-up, and routine gynecologic care

• Independently manage low-risk labors and births in collaboration with physicians and nursing staff

• Conduct patient education on childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, contraception, and postpartum recovery

• Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians on high-risk cases and ensure appropriate care coordination

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation in the EMR

• Participate in shared call schedule, including nights and weekends

• Contribute to quality improvement and patient education initiatives

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program

• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)

• Current RN and CNM licenses in New York State (or eligibility to obtain)

• Current BLS and NRP certifications required (ACLS a plus)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and culturally sensitive bedside manner

• Spanish language proficiency is a strong plus

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship is available
