Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Adult)
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Department: Emergency Services – Adult
Schedule: Day Shift, 3x12 (7:30 AM – 8:00 PM)
Pay Rate:
- Local: $2,484/week
- Travel: $2,979/week
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Adult) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care in the adult emergency department
- Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and administer medications as prescribed
- Support and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation
- Assess, document, and communicate patient conditions to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure quality care
- Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current, active New York State RN license (verified through NYSED)
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in high-volume emergency departments
