• Shift: Saturday & Sunday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: ~15 hours
• Weekdays: Off (Monday–Friday)
• Duration: 9-week contract

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Registered Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support radiologists in delivering high-quality imaging services. This weekend contract role is ideal for professionals with 0–2 years of experience who are looking for a structured part-time opportunity in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures according to established protocols
• Perform diagnostic imaging and assist radiologists during examinations
• Operate, maintain, and perform basic troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Upload and manage imaging data in PACS for physician review
• Maintain supplies and assist with inventory management
• Support scheduling and patient flow coordination as needed
• Maintain compliance with imaging standards, quality, and documentation requirements
• Assist in onboarding or guiding new staff when required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications & Skills

• RDMS certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography – required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and procedures
• Ability to operate medical imaging equipment effectively
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and patient care
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Education

• Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology

• High School Diploma/GED with completion of an accredited ultrasound/sonography program
