Salary: $20-$28 Hourly

The Factory NYC is a leading custom fabrication company specializing in innovative solutions for a variety of industries, including events, retail, art, architecture, and other related industries. As we continue to grow, were seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Facilities Technician to support our fabrication and warehouse operations.

Position Overview:

The Overhire Facilities Crew Member supports the facilities department by handling materials, performing duties assigned by the facilities manager, and assisting with general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and takes pride in providing clean, organized and safe work environments.

Position Responsibilities include:

• Assist the Facilities Manager with warehouse and equipment maintenance and general porter duties.
• Assist in upkeep and minor repairs with equipment common carpentry settings.
• Receiving, inventorying, and stocking materials.
• Loading materials, tools, and finished product for production.
• Keeping production and common areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Operating company vehicles including 24ft Box Trucks.
• Support opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Support incoming and outgoing deliveries and vendor pickups.

Position Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License and a clean driving record are required. Must be able to drive 24ft Box Trucks.
• Forklift certification welcomed (will train the right candidate).
• Prior experience in a fabrication, warehouse, or construction setting.
• Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Strong, positive and teamwork minded communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

What We Offer:

Part-Time Position (MondayFriday, occasional weekends as needed).

Hourly Rate: $20$28/hr (based on experience).
