Worker Classification: the stylist is an independent contractor and responsible for paying their own quarterly federal and state taxesScheduling: The stylist has control over their hours, booking systems, and service menu. Required to work at least 1 day a week.
Supplies & Equipment: The stylist is required to provide their own shears, products, towels, capes, and liability insurance
Termination Clause: Provide a clear notice period (e.g., 30 days) required for either party to end the agreement.
Liability: The stylist is required to maintain professional liability insurance and indemnify the nursing home against any claims arising from their work.
