Job Summary:
The Agent Accounting Specialist is responsible for the handling of all Agent accounting functions,
including customer service, settlement processing, and financial reporting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Commitment to excellent customer service, in support of both external and internal customers,
utilizing effective communication and follow-up skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment at all levels of the
organization, or work independently with little or no supervision, to achieve results.

* Effective interpersonal skills that result in loyal, long-term agent/customer relationships.

* Practical problem solving and decision-making skills.

* Ability to work under time constraints using time management and organization skills, adjusting
priorities based on workload or direction from department head and management.

* Handle day-to-day agent/customer/branch issues that may arise.

* Coordinate internal audits.

* Ensure all deadlines are met.

* FX transactions and basic understanding of foreign currency and conversion.
Desired Skills and Expertise:

* Enthusiastic, positive, and internally driven.

* Knowledge of freight forwarding with focus on foreign agent accounting.

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.

* 2-3 years experience in international logistics operations.

* CargoWise operating system knowledge, a plus.
Qualifications:

* Minimum high school diploma or GED.

* Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US.

* Must be able to work a hybrid work schedule *Subject to change with company policy.

Salary Range: $55,000 $58,000
