Futures OTC Clearing VP

As a Futures OTC Clearing VP, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our clearing processes. You will be working closely with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholder to complete client documentation, coordinates functions, legal and compliance on regulatory and market structure development and with product and platform teams on Barclays’ capabilities in the clear derivatives space, while driving and maintaining our commitment to remarkable client service.

To be successful as a Futures OTC Clearing VP, you should have experience with:

• US rules and regulation that relates futures, derivatives, and FX prime brokerage

• Legal documentation governing the futures, derivatives, and FX prime brokerage

• Comprehensive understanding of products, trading mechanics, and life cycle events

Some highly valued skills include:

• Knowledge of UK and EU regulations and products

• Fixed income, prime brokerage, and US treasury market structure

• Client Onboarding processes

This role is located in New York.

This role is regulated by FINRA.

This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.

Minimum Salary: $150,000

Maximum Salary: $225,000

Purpose of the role

Liquid Finance Platform covers a variety of roles and is central to the delivery of best-in-class products and services, and for the provision of strategic client and risk solutions across the full spectrum of the Prime Financing businesses.

Accountabilities

• Working with clients to optimise the Liquid Financing relationship
• Provide best-in-class service and escalation oversight
• Primary contact for Liquid Financing clients in areas such as trading, risk, billing and reporting
• Provide expertise on industry and regulatory initiatives
• Subject matter expert for our clients, with a deep understanding of each client’s business mix, operational requirements and product sensitivities
