Studio manager
We are seeking a full-time proposal manager and studio support (Studio Manager) to join our team.

- One short and one long writing sample.
Step 2: In-person interview/ After reviewing your materials, we will be in touch within two weeks if you may be a fit for the role and invite you for an in-person interview.
What your workday as a Studio Manager could include:
- Monitoring and automating online RFP/RFQ listings to identify opportunities that align with our capabilities, values, and aspirations.
- Reviewing bid requirements including scope, fee, timelines, and other factors to assist studio leadership with decision-making regarding pursuits and teaming.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships and managing communication with the key marketing staff of collaborating firms.
- Conducting research for and assisting with writing key components of the firm’s proposal response including project understanding, approach, technical scope of work, and cover letter.
- Developing cost and fee proposals in collaboration with studio leadership, grounded in knowledge of team capacity, scope, and budget constraints.
- Completing required forms from agencies or partnering firms and managing all compliance elements of a submission.
- Coordinating closely with the Principal(s) to meet tight and competing deadlines, including scheduling meetings with collaborating partners and clients.
- Assisting project managers with organizing and hosting community events.
- Regularly maintaining the firm’s website and social media channels.
- Assisting with HR tasks such as ensuring maintenance of staff timesheets, leave, flexible time etc.
- Providing executive assistance to and completing tasks for the Principal(s) when needed, including managing calendars and scheduling external communications.
- Assisting in drafting and editing presentations on behalf of the Principal(s) using PowerPoint and InDesign; support the Principal(s) in preparing for and executing virtual presentations.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly office environment and ordering office supplies for daily use and project needs.
- Writing and editing business correspondence, preparing expense reports, and handling interoffice communications.
Essential qualifications we seek for this position are:
- A bachelor’s degree with some coursework in writing and planning, design, urban studies, policy, or a related discipline.
- At least one year of experience in an administrative role, and demonstrated interest and experience in urban design, urban planning, ecology, policy, or related fields.

Salary Range:
- $54,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and work experience.
