Behavioral Health Therapist

We are a small, client-centered private practice located in the Albany, NY area dedicated to providing compassionate and effective mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. Our mission is to support individuals and families in achieving emotional wellness through evidence-based and strengths-focused counseling.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced clinician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide counseling services to a diverse caseload of children, youth, and adults. While telehealth sessions are available, we are primarily seeking clinicians interested in offering in-person services at our Albany office.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and/or family counseling to clients across the lifespan.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with client goals and clinical best practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with other providers and community supports as appropriate.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in mental health counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Active New York State licensure as an LMHC, LMSW, or LCSW .
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy or counseling.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
