Automation Maintenance Technologist
Keep High‑Speed Lines Running at Peak Performance
Join a global leader in eye health as an Automation Maintenance Technologist. If you’ve spent 2+ years repairing and maintaining complex production equipment, this is your chance to own uptime on advanced, high-speed manufacturing systems while partnering daily with Operations Technicians and Engineers.
A day in the life
You start your 12‑hour shift with a focused turnover: reviewing pass-down notes, planning required PMs, and prioritizing open issues. When an alarm hits a line, you move quickly—troubleshooting electromechanical faults, diving into PLC/HMI diagnostics when needed, replacing sensors or motors, and documenting root causes and corrections. Between events, you execute preventative maintenance, assist with offline rebuilds or pre-assembly work, and collaborate with Engineers to boost line output and reduce repeat downtime. Before close, you log actions, communicate status to the next crew and your supervisor, and queue improvement ideas for follow-up.
Schedule options (12‑hour shifts with built-in overtime and regular days off)
- Rotating Day/Night: Week 1: Mon/Tues (6 AM–6 PM), Fri/Sat/Sun (6 PM–6 AM); Week 2: Wed/Thurs (6 AM–6 PM)
- Straight Nights: 6 PM–6 AM on a 2‑2‑3 pattern
If nights align with your lifestyle and you’re excited to contribute to a global vision care mission, we’d love to meet you.
