Press Operator / Die Setter
Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is seeking a Press Operator / Die Setter for our client located in Wallkill.The chosen Press Operator / Die Setter will be responsible for:
»Obtaining pre-cut metal parts and placing parts into brake or punch press
»Setting up and operating the press breaks, shears and punch presses using foot or palm controls
»Loading finished parts into bin set
»Cleaning and maintaining the machine
»Observing operating to detect misalignments or malfunctions
prosperous Press Operator / Die Setter candidates must:
»Be able to lift up to 50 pounds with ease
»Have previous machining, die setting, press brake, punch press, or CNC practice
»Be able to read a tape measure
»Know how to operate a forklift
This is a temp to hire opportunity. Hours are 7:30am – 4pm, Monday – Friday. Pay rate is $22 per hour.
