Shipping and Receiving Manager

We are seeking a results driven shipping and receiving manager with proven experience and strong knowledge of the shipping and reciving process including domestic and international logistics within a high volume and fast paced manufacturing company. Excellent organization and time management skills are desired.

salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Inventory Management:
 Track and control inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy.
 Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
 Implement and enforce inventory control processes and policies.

 Supervise and provide direction to the shipping and receiving team.
 Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to ensure productivity and efficiency.
 Create and maintain schedules to optimize workforce utilization.

 Coordinate with freight carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues or delays.
 Negotiate shipping rates and contracts with transportation vendors.
 Ensure compliance with all shipping and customs regulations.

 Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
 Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
 Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.

 Proven experience as a Shipping and Receiving Manager or a similar logistics role.
 Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including domestic and international logistics.
 Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP software – Epicor a plus)
