The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing at Pawling is currently seeking a Staff Driver Position Type: Part-time Pay Rate: $17.50 Schedule: Mon-Fri morning and afternoon runs from Poughkeepsie to Pawling back to Poughkeepsie. Ideal candidate lives in Poughkeepsie area. Times: 5am-7:30am & 1pm-3:30pm (25 hrs/wk) The Grand Healthcare is seeking a reliable and responsible Staff Driver to join our team! In this position, you will be responsible for transporting staff from The Grand River Valley in Poughkeepsie to Pawling and back to River Valley. The role offers flexible hours while ensuring safe and timely transportation for staff to and from their shifts. Availibility to cover evening shifts when other driver needs timeoff is a great plus. Key Responsibilities: * Transport Staff: Safely transport staff from Poughkeepsie to Pawling and back for each scheduled shift. * Shuttle Staff at Shift Changes: Pick up staff at the beginning of shifts and return them after their shifts. For example, transporting staff at the start of a shift (6 AM) and returning them at the end of their shift (2 PM). * Timeliness: Ensure staff are transported safely and on time to their shifts and back home. * Flexible Hours: Adapt to schedules, with shift start times as early as 5 AM Staff Driver Requirements: * Valid Driver's License: A current, valid driver's license is required. * Clean Driving Record: No traffic violations or points on driving record. Applicant must provide driving abstract upon offer of job. * Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States. * Flexible Availability: Must be available for exact posted shifts and adaptable to varying start and end times. * Dependable & Responsible: Must be reliable and have strong problem-solving skills. * Team Player: Able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to smooth operations.
