Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist for a travel contract job in Malone, New York. This 13-week assignment offers 8-hour day shifts at a hospital-based oncology department. The ideal candidate is experienced in administering radiation treatments, patient care, and working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary cancer care team. Specific daily hours will be discussed during the interview.

• Weekly Hours: 40

• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with possibility of extension

• Pay Range: Starting at $31.37/hour + weekly stipends for meals and housing

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients

• Operate linear accelerators and other specialized equipment

• Monitor and document patient responses and side effects

• Work closely with radiation oncologists, nurses, and dosimetrists to ensure safe and effective care

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards

Qualifications

• Required: New York State Radiation Therapist license, or willingness to obtain

• Certifications: ARRT (T) and BLS (AHA)

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent radiation therapy experience in a hospital or outpatient oncology setting

• Preferred: Experience with Varian or Elekta systems
