Greater Staten Island Veterinary Services is looking to add a full time Emergency Veterinarian to join our well established, rapidly growing 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital!

Greater Staten Island Veterinary Services is located in the southern borough of Staten Island in NYC. This location is easily commutable to Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the other boroughs of NYC, along with NJ and Philadelphia a short car ride away. This is a great area to live in, with easy access to beaches, sports, arts, Broadway, entertainment, several airports, parks, shopping and more! Our hospital culture is collaborative and fun and the veterinarians in this area have been referring to our family of hospitals for over twenty years. This location has enabled us to provide emergency and referral veterinary care closer to home for our established base of clients as well as new clients in the Staten Island area.

How you will make a difference:

Greater Staten Island Veterinary Services sees a diverse caseload of emergency and referral patients. As an Emergency Veterinarian at GSiVS, you will have the opportunity to work alongside, collaborate, and gain support from all specialists in: Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, and Neurology. You will have the opportunity to help elevate the knowledge and skill of the licensed veterinary technicians and assistants, enabling them to provide the best care possible for our patients.

Schedule:

• Full time- 12 shifts per month
• Includes weekdays, weekends, and a mix of days, swings, and overnights (preferred)
