Job Overview:
This role involves building time-critical and revenue-generating applications for investment banking and global capital markets businesses. The successful candidate will collaborate with global peers to create innovative user experiences, improve developer efficiency using design thinking, and apply expertise in APIs, components, security standards, testing tools, and web/mobile development. The position requires close collaboration with Product Management, UX, Development, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Develop time-critical and revenue-generating applications for investment banking and global capital markets businesses.
• Collaborate with global peers to create innovative user experiences that delight users.
• Utilize design thinking to enhance developer efficiency.
• Apply knowledge of APIs, components, security standards, testing tools, web browsers, and mobile development to deliver outstanding outcomes.
• Work closely with Product Management, UX, Development, and QA teams to ensure timely and quality deliveries.
• Successfully multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged full-stack developer role.

Qualifications:

• Strong Java development experience (4+ years) with an understanding of functional and reactive programming in Java.
• Experience using Spring Containers (with Spring Boot) for enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in developing REST APIs using Spring Boot 2.0 (reactive) and skilled in Open API (Swagger) specification.
• Expertise in UI technologies such as HTML5, Angular 2+, or similar JavaScript-based frameworks.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with relational databases like DB2 or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in unit testing of frontend components.
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in architecture, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with BDD testing and tools.
• Cloud-native development experience (Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, orchestration).
• Understanding of distributed systems architecture concepts such as microservices and micro frontends.
• Experience with software development and collaboration tools (GitHub, Jira/Rally, Confluence, etc.).
• Proficiency in using GIT for source control management and automated build deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Open source or other community contributions.

Pay Range: $60 - $70

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
