Pay: $65–$74/hr (Approx. $2,242.50–$2,553/week)

Position Summary:


"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse – Operating Room for an exciting job in Cooperstown, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, efficient nursing care throughout preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.

• Prepare and maintain the operating room, equipment, and instruments following sterile and aseptic standards.

• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to support optimal surgical outcomes.

• Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, conditions, and nursing interventions accurately.

• Ensure surgical supplies and equipment are available and functioning properly.

• Anticipate surgical team needs and assist during procedures.

• Uphold strict infection control and safety protocols.

• Educate and support patients and families regarding procedures and postoperative expectations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).

• Active RN license in the state of New York.

• BLS required; ACLS & PALS preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience required.

• Experience across multiple surgical specialties preferred.

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability in high-pressure settings.

• Knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and OR equipment.
