Position Overview As a Sales Associate, you will be a key contributor to the Prounis client experience. You will support the sales team, operational systems, our by appointment showroom experience with precision and care. This role bridges luxury client engagement with disciplined backend execution, ensuring every interaction and transaction reflects the brand’s elevated standards. You will report to the Client Experience and Partnerships Manager and collaborate closely with the studio team to support sales, CRM, and operational workflow. Key Responsibilities Facilitate in-person and virtual appointments for the Prounis collection and VIP follow-through. Ensure the showroom remains organized, polished, and client-ready at all times, representing Prounis with professionalism and care in every interaction. Manage and respond to customer service inquiries across communication channels, and maintain thorough and accurate appointment notes within the CRM and ERP. Cultivate meaningful, long-term client relationships. Document client preferences and milestones within the CRM, execute thoughtful outreach initiatives, and ensure accuracy and consistency of client and sales records across systems. Support the full lifecycle of private sales by executing timely post-appointment follow-up, processing orders in POS and ERP systems, performing end-of-day reconciliation, and coordinating confirmations, payment tracking, and shipment preparation. Monitor order timelines and prepare and pack outbound shipments with attention to detail, ensuring presentation reflects the brand’s elevated standards. Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in luxury retail sales, preferably within fine jewelry or fine art Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales goals while maintaining a high-touch client experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver a high level of client service with clarity, warmth, and professionalism
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and clienteling practices
- Experience with POS/ERP systems
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Adaptable and comfortable balancing client-facing appointments with backend operational responsibilities
- Professional, discreet, and trustworthy with sensitive client information
- Engaged, collaborative team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Genuine interest in jewelry, history, art, design and fashion
- Strong, proactive work ethic to grow within a small, entrepreneurial studio environment
Compensation
The hourly rate for this role begins at $30 and is based on experience, with additional bonus opportunities available.
