At Konya, we focus on the art of refined simplicity. While our sister concept, Manhattan’s Konban, is celebrated for its specialized focus, Konya takes a broader and more approachably elegant path. We are dedicated to presenting a curated selection of Korean-Japanese dishes that emphasize seasonal ingredients and balanced flavors. Our mission is to elevate everyday dining by blending traditional techniques with a relaxed, neighborhood-oriented atmosphere.

Job Description:

• Greet guests warmly, take orders, and serve food and beverages with care.
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable guest experience.
• Maintain deep knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
• Efficiently handle payments and maintain accuracy in all transactions.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and team members; at Konya, teamwork is our core value.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Exhibit flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, "guest-first" attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine and beverages is a plus.
